01:06 pm - Long time not Type Anyway, this last weekend was a blast. My brother came to town on friday. Started out hanging out with him a little bit that night. Then we went to Jared's 21st barfday. We were all shitfaced. Then came the wedding, where my brother and I experienced the formation of TEAM LARWIG (long story.) I got drunk there too.
Sunday Jake, Will and I went to crossroads to buy some Starburys. Look them up online. They are great. We then watched PayPerView Wrestling at JR's family BBQ. It was good, but the beans had way too much liquid smoke. Its also in an old Krispy Kreme.
Anyway, I'm gonna have lunch with him today and then that's it until Christmas. I'm gonna miss him.
Also, for those who don't know, I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins. Bad news of course, but thankfully he should be alright. Still, months of chemo is not cool. Top of that, he'd prefer to be here, and not back in San Antonio.

11:52 am Few regrets that I have now that summer is over:
1: The fact that I worked at least 40 hours a week kept me from being more social 2: Didn't swim 3: Didn't watch Wet Hot American Summer, not even once 4: No Tang
Also, WTF I have a livejournal still

01:16 pm So I just saw this commercial for the last king of scotland.
For those of you who don't know, its about the private life of Idi Amin, a Ugandan dictator who persecuted a shitload of people.
They made it out to be some kind of sentemental and inspiring story of a kind and charasmatic leader. Seriously

01:54 pm It looks like I'll be getting this Hertz job. Problem is that its 40 hours a week so I'll be occupied during the summer. However, if things work out I'll be working out of home on my own time 18 hours a week, 10 dollars an hour when school starts in the fall.
I don't do much with summers anyway

04:43 pm I never thought I would work for the Metro Library association, but there's a position at the Edmond Library checkout desk that pays 9.88 an hour, 20 hours a week, same schedule week-in and week-out.
I have a better chance working there than some applicants because I've worked in the system for a year and a half so who knows?

12:54 am A week ago I had a dream where I was in a dense jungle and I was chasing a lion. I got to a clearing and saw it, then I looked down at the prints that were laid.
It was then that I heard a poem, that was recited in 2nd person. This is the best I've been able to transcribe
The Savage monster forced a battle in which your father died you the lion on this journey must defend your pride
These prints! Are they the enemy's from the vicious raid? Sadly, no, these prints are yours from the circles you have made.

04:59 pm you guys HAVE to read the wiki for bricktown
Like good soldiers on the battlefield, others picked up the flag and charged on. Investors such as Jim Brewer saw bargains and were willing to invest their time and energy. Companies such as Spaghetti Warehouse moved in and pointed the way to others. And then Mayor Ron Norick and an army of leaders hatched the MAPS program that would add new attractions to Bricktown and tie it all together with a festive canal and riverwalk. Like the mythical Phoenix, the old commercial and cultural crossroads would cast off its troubled past and emerge once again as a vital part of Oklahoma City's life.

04:54 pm For those of you who don't know, My Grandmother moved in with my family after she got ill in the early 90's. She's been sick on and off for that time and it got to the point to where she could no longer go outside the house.
She passed away at 12:35 today.
Its going to be different, as I've never lost a grandmother up until this point, and the fact that I lived in the same house as her for well over a decade is going to take some adjustment.
So on that note I'm not going to the Memorize show tonight, but hopefully I can catch up with the rest of the world on a later date
